🏳️🌈 LGBTQ+ & Neurodivergent Friendly
“Battle & Brush just feels like a big family compared to other communities. For friends nervous about being a beginner with unpainted minis, it is totally fine. With time and patience, you will learn and grow.”
“The community feels more casual than most as we talk about more than just games. Unpainted models? New to the game? Don't worry, we've all been there. A good opponent won't care about either.”
“I feel like our community is very beginner-friendly and welcoming. It's great for asking for tips, whether that be rules clarifications or painting advice. Unpainted minis are fine, everyone starts somewhere and we like seeing people grow.”
“It's not just a community; it's a family that will accept you no matter what. We can't all be Duncan Rhodes, it takes time to paint minis to a state where you are happy. We all started somewhere. Every brushstroke is a victory.”
Grab a brew, unpack your army transport bag, and roll some D6s without anyone groaning about your list.
Whether rolling your first D6 in Combat Patrol, setting up a game of Adeptus Titanicus, or returning after 3rd Edition 40k, our community offers a warm, zero-attitude space across Birmingham and the Black Country. Grey plastic strictly welcomed.
Skip hyper-competitive stress. We focus on narrative Crusade campaigns, fun 1,000pt/2,000pt scenario battles, Spearhead, Trench Crusade skirmishes, and casual paint sessions.
We build custom tools like FoeFind to help solo Warhammer and wargaming players across Birmingham set up games without needing pre-existing store networks.
We're store agnostic. We're where the community is. Games get arranged on Discord, then we meet at independent gaming venues across Birmingham.
